Key Objective

The position is responsible for conducting scheduled audit and ad-hoc special assignments.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct audits or assist Head of Department in executing audit assignments, with effective resource management.

• Prepare audit work papers of quality that supports audit observations and/or audit reports

• Draft clear and concise audit observations including providing effective recommendations that are acceptable by various stakeholders.

• Plan and conduct special assignments, projects or meetings, as instructed by Head of Department, upon request of Audit Committee/management/regulators/Chubb Asia Pacific regional Internal Audit.

• Assist in regional audit work, as assigned by Head of Internal Audit and/or Asia Pacific Regional Audit Director.

• Provide timely, complete and accurate progress reports to Head of Department.

• Any other duties as assigned.

• Good written and spoken English.

• Proficient in general Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point) and other data analytical applications.

• Self-motivated and willing to work independently or with a team.

Experience

• 2 to 4 years’ experience in internal or external audit with an accounting firm.

• Possesses experience in actuarial or IT related audits is a plus, but not essential.

• Possesses knowledge of the Insurance industry and related regulatory requirements is a plus, but not essential.

Qualifications

• Tertiary/professional qualifications in business discipline, majoring in Accounting or Associateship of Malaysian Insurance Institute (AMII)/Certificate of MII – Insurance (CMII) or Certified Internal Audit (CIA) or other relevant certifications preferred
