Driver cum Store Keeper - #10492868

We are seeking a skilled and responsible individual to fill the position of Driver cum Storekeeper. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to and from designated locations while also managing the inventory and storage of products in the warehouse. This role requires a combination of driving skills, organizational abilities, and attention to detail.

Driving Responsibilities:

 Operate a van/motorcar to transport goods to and from specified locations.
 Ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods to customers or other designated destinations.
 Adhere to traffic laws and regulations to maintain a clean driving record.

Storekeeping Responsibilities:

 Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods and materials.
 Organize and maintain the warehouse to optimize space utilization.
 Keep accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and deliveries.
 Coordinate with other departments to fulfill internal requests for materials or products.

Loading and Unloading:

 Assist in loading and unloading goods from the lorry.
 Ensure proper securing of cargo to prevent damage during transportation.

Maintenance:

 Ensure cleanliness of all areas, keeping storage areas clean & tidy and in strict compliance with safety regulations.
 Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly.
 Ensure safe keeping/arranging/storing and disposal of scrap materials with proper recording.
 Assist in managing and coordinating the arrangement and disposal of all waste materials, including proper recording as per requirements.
 Ad hoc basis.

Documentation:

 Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery notes, invoices, and inventory records.
 Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs of all transportation and warehouse activities.
