Engineer, Production - #10502600

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Monitor and ensure all process parameters are within the production spectrum as per quality plan.
2. Coordinate with production personnel in monitoring and ensuring all process parameters are within the production spectrum as per quality plan.
3. Coordinate with compounding personnel to ensure all compounded chemicals and latex received are accordance to specifications.
4. Coordinate with laboratory personnel on monitoring on-line chemicals analysis data and advice accordingly if required.
5. Record and analyze the measurement data from the process parameter.
6. Analyze the root cause from the unscheduled machine breakdown time.
7. Standardize the relevant chemicals and utilities usage during processing.
8. Assists production personnel on plant production quality trouble shooting.
9. Assists production personnel to improve the efficiency, productivity and quality in manufacturing.
10. Interface with other departments to determine the required content and breadth of new product / customer activities that will support successful project implementation.
11. Coordinating resources from Production, Laboratory, Engineering/Maintenance, and QA personnel assigned to specific projects (New product / customer).
12. All experiments and studies done must be well documented.
13. Assists company in conducting trouble shooting on customer complaints.
14. Assess processes, take measurements and interpret data
15. Design, run, test and upgrade systems and processes
16. Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output
17. Perform process simulations
18. Manage cost and time constraints
19. Provide process documentation and operating instructions
20. Other assigned duties as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering
2. Proven work experience in Process Engineering
3. Excellent technical skills
4. Knowledge of process related standards
5. Experience in process simulations
6. Familiarity with health and safety regulations
7. Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills
