We are looking for Accountant.

Duties:
As the accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial operations of our hotel. Your attention to detail, financial expertise, and leadership skills will be vital in maintaining accurate financial records, facilitating efficient processes, and supporting strategic decision-making. Among the key responsibilities of this position

To manage financial transactions and maintaining accurate records, and
To prepare, review, and analyse financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements on a regular basis.
Prepare month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring adherence to established deadlines.
To assist in the development and monitoring of the hotel's annual budget, ensuring that expenses are controlled, and revenue goals are met.
Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and identify discrepancies.
Conduct monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accurate bank balances and payment records.
Provide insightful financial analysis, variance analysis, and key performance indicators to support strategic decision-making.
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, prepare, and file tax returns, and liaise with external tax advisors when necessary.
Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard hotel assets and minimize financial risks.

Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; or a related field; ACCA, CPA or CA certification is a plus.
Minimum 2 years of working experience in the 5-star hotel or hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge or accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
