Job Description

• Product design and development using 3D Cad software and other simulation tools (preferably SolidWorks).
• Research, design and development of machine related to company roadmap.
• Translate customer's requirement into design specification, evaluate design feasibility and provide technical expertise to meet customer's request.
• Checking of drawings and preparation of Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Coordinate design phases, transfer and project scheduling.
• Develop hardware tools for internal use.
• Prepare proper documentation throughout the entire design and development processes
• Perform component selection, sourcing and material request.
• Innovate to achieve breakthrough and continuous improvement in both products and processes.
• Take initiative to solve any detected of foreseen problem.
• Interact with customers to provide support and solution.
• On-site support for mechanical related issues.
• Travelling to set-up & support buy-off activity.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Electromechanical engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years professional experience in relevant industry.
• Possess knowledge in Solidworks, Solidworks PDM.
• Exposure to machine electrical circuit design or with fundamental electrical/electronic knowledge
• Ability to work independently & be self-sufficient while managing multiple projects
• Good communication skills.
• Able to work to meet deadlines.
