Job Responsibilities:

• To lead and manage the entire finance department of Upstream Steel Division.
• To provide leadership and coaching to finance team and ensure the management reports, budgets, financial statements, cash flow reports, etc, are properly submitted and completed in a timely manner.
• Formulate financial strategies to steer the Company into its future direction.
• Analyse financial and operational results/budgets/forecast and KPIs against forecast/budget/target and advise on the Company's financial performance.
• Working closely with the Group Finance team.
• To perform other accounting duties as requested by the superior.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree/ Professional qualification in accounting. (with professional qualification ACCA or CIMA, member of MIA will be added an advantage)
• Preferably a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
• A minimum of three years of managerial experience in finance managing a team size of not fewer than five staff members.
• Sound knowledge of accounting standards and system of internal controls.
• Familiar with import and export transactions and bank payment procedures.
• Ability to work independently and make rational decisions.
• Proficiency in English and MS Office.
