JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for developing, implementing, executing, and monitoring vendor performance, and formulation of procedures and guidelines to ensure the supply chain functions in terms of vendor management, provision of data information, reporting/monitoring of the vendor assessments and vendor performance initiatives, are executed and managed properly and provided within schedule to meet section’s targets. KPIs and the department business goals and in compliance to procurement policies, procedures, and guidelines.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish an effective vendor/ subcontractor performance assessment tools and systems for tracking, addressing vendor performance issue.
• Establish and strategies vendor/ subcontractor assessment plan to minimize MMHE business risks and protect MMHE interests.
• Establish and develop vendor/subcontractor engagement sessions with collaboration with other departments e.g., HSE, CMT, Corporate Communication, Security etc.
• Establish and execute Consequence Management Committee (CMC) in addressing nonperformance and non-compliance of vendors and subcontractors.
• Develop, review, propose and monitor vendor quality improvement initiatives that would result in measurable cost and non-cost benefits to the Company, benchmark against industry best practices.
• Develop and adopt procedure that facilitate and foster communication, yet still achieve process efficiencies.
• Prepare and maintain internal procedure manual and checklist.
• Monitor and improve vendor supply chain performance /compliance focusing on root causes resolutions.
• Provide on job coaching and identifying skill and knowledge enhancement required to development through internal and external training.
• Participate training related with job scope to develop and close by the competency & performance gap for the career development.
• Maintain and control close relationship with relevant parties (e.g., Local Authorities, internal and external customers, auditors) and suppliers/subcontractors to facilitate smooth connection within parties to deliver the divisional objectives as well as maintaining integrity in engaging such relationship.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationship with internal customers and vendors.
• To deal both tactfully and effectively with internal customers and vendors on every level.
• Communicates effectively with peers, supervisors, and subordinates.
• Establish leadership, direction, and guidance to motivate and to nurture potential qualified leaders in the Supply Chain Services Department for breakthrough performance to make MMHE to greater height.
• Willing to take ownership and responsibility for work related issues.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and orchestrate multiple activities once to maintain a high-volume production schedule.
• Provide and maintain a health, safe, motivating, and conducive work environment in Supply Chain Services department that promotes a culture of excellence and a global championship mind set with the objective of improving productivity, maintaining standards of services, promoting industrial harmony as well as instilling discipline and integrity.

• Lead and maintain implementation of HSE initiatives in the Procurement Division and inculcate HSE among its staff and workers to develop HSE as the MMHE Procurement Division work culture.
• To have strong analytical and communication skills, identifying issues in workplace safety and making sure peers understand and in compliance to company’s HSE requirement.

REQUIREMENT:

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Science or other professional related qualification.
• Has relevant experience across function in planning, procurement and the industries preferably heavy engineering, oil and gas or equivalent.
