Job Description:

• Ensure that designated machines are fit for purpose and to provide proactive support/solutions when required.
• Coordinate, execute and monitor Engineering projects closely and ensure on time completion according to schedule and avoid unauthorized variation orders.
• Active participation in yearly departmental budget and costing, monitoring and tracking of its implementation.
• Ensure refurbishment programs for production machineries are established and completed every year for improvement work.
• Hands on intervention during installation, troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance work, calibration, machine qualification and spare parts management of cGMP equipment and devices used.
• Manage and guide department to ensure strict compliance to current regulatory requirement by constant engagement and monitoring, and keep abreast with current compliance development.
• Manage, identify & coordinate department associated ERM, continuous update and mitigation implementation of risk registers with execution to complete committed treatments.
• Negotiate with vendor’s higher authority in seeking support and solution for chronic problems & review contract content to ensure scope of work is comprehensive and pricing is competitive.
• Assist HOD Division to prepare project papers for submission to PRC and Board, by liaising with various department i.e. Marketing, Technical and Finance team.
• Identify troubleshooting gaps, and arrange for skills upgrade, identify training needs for staff and coordinate for in house training for critical system, be part of department internal trainer.
• Review and approve all GMP and non-GMP related documents and reports for sign off in the absence of HOD.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Min 10 years of working experience in Manufacturing Industry.
• Subject In-depth knowledge of critical equipment and production machinery.
• Excellent knowledge in Good Manufacturing Practice.
• Strong documentation management & control skills.
• In-depth knowledge Project Management.
• Ability to work under high pressure and demanding working environment.
• Critical and creative thinking to solve issues and problems.
• Sound knowledge of Conflict Management.
• Able to lead and direct group of Engineers & technical expertise on day-to-day operations.
• Able to introduce & implement performance driven culture within department.
• Excellent communication skills.
