Job purpose

In this capacity, the Team Lead manages and run the production lines of Company, he/she shall carry out the Corrective Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance of Mold, Production and Machine Process Parameter. Team Lead shall perform data collection of specified injection process/ mold or data for analysis and record keeping. To ensure well-planned and smooth operation of production-related matters.

Mission

Team Lead mission as listed below:

1. Ensure the Production daily output, scrap dan down records are upkeep.

2. Ensure smooth machine/mold/equipment’s operation.

3. Proper planning on his/her shift requirements on Packaging material.

4. In coordination with Quality and Safety to ensure the quality of the product meet requirement at all the time.

5. Manage and supervise manpower to run production lines on daily basis.

6. Ensure all planned Mold Preventive Maintenance are carried out in a timely manner.

7. Ensure mold /equipment’s spare part management are well organized.

Duties and responsibilities

1. Lead and supervise his/her Operator in delivering efficient and effective production operations.

2. Proper planning on his/her shift requirements on Packaging material, auxiliary material and produce products as per the planning schedule.

3. Maintain good plant housekeeping, cleanliness and tidiness.

4. To carry out a product sample measurement.

5. Ensure production efficiency by closely monitoring of product manufacturing process and implementing corrective actions including proper use of production resources, assist in proper set-up and first piece buy-off, adhere to the required frequency of product checks and initiating appropriate corrective and preventive actions.

6. Ensure proper Process inspection/Startup/Quality/Shift-report documentation and adhere to GMP.

7. Assist external vendor/supplier during contract Preventive Maintenance is carry out.

8. Assist Sr. Engineer and Maintenance Specialist in identifying necessary machine/equipment’s spare parts and upkeep the inventory and record of mold spare parts.

9. Involve in new machine/equipment’s/ mold installation/new material, training, qualification and validation.

10. Involve in improvement activities of machine/equipment’s to reduce the downtime and MTBR.

11. Data collection of specified machine/equipment’s/ injection process parameters.

12. To work closely with Production/Quality to minimize scrap and meet the product quality. 13. Ensure all documentation is properly recorded and updated.

14. Any other duties assigned by Sr Engineer.

Qualifications and Experiences

1. Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Adv. Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering.

2. Minimum 2 to 3 years working experience in Plastic Injection Molding, a field in injection process or tooling added advantage.

3. Knowledge in Maintenance or Facilities are added advantage.

4. Able to fluently written/verbal communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Skills

1. Experience in Plastic injection mold process.

2. Experience in plastic mold technology and its fundamentals.

3. Process management and organizational skills.

4. Health and safety procedure. 5. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)

6. Autocad or Pro-E are advantages.

Physical requirements

1. Able to work in extended hour(s) if required in case of emergency/breakdown.

2. Able to support during odd hour(s).

3. Able to work at height if required.

1. Ensure minimum machine/mold/ equipment downtime.

2. Ensure all documentation is recorded and updated.

3. Ensure production runs smoothly daily basis.

4. Ensure all planned Preventive Maintenance are carry out in a timely manner
