JSK Borneo Reef - the Largest Reef Activity Pontoon in South East Asia which caters for, JSK JSK Borneo Reef - the Largest Reef Activity Pontoon in South East Asia which caters for, amongst other activities, an underwater sea observatory deck, snorkeling, inflatable water theme park, kayaking, sea walking, water sports & recreational activities, boat transfer, F&B, vending machine, and other Pontoon-centered activities, we are currently looking for experienced and dedicated individuals with the "CAN DO" attitude to join our hospitality family.

Prior hotel water theme park management/cruise ship/pontoon operations experience is essential.

Responsibilities:

Responsible to ensuring that all food is of excellent quality and served in a timely manner.
Responsible for the planning the menu, keeping in mind budget, and availability of seasonal ingredients.
Responsible to overseeing all kitchen operations.
Responsible to coordinate with kitchen staff, and assist them as required.
Responsible to trained staff to prepare and cook all the menu items.
Responsible for the stock of ingredients and equipment, and placing orders to replenish stock.
Responsible to ensure safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
Responsible to create and propose to the Management for the new recipes to keep the menu fresh.
Keeping up to date with industry trends.

Requirements:

Culinary certification or degree from a culinary school preferred.
2-3 years food service or restaurant experience required.
Familiarity with general kitchen equipment and appliances.
Must be able to communicate (read and write) in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Knowledge of Mandarin is an added advantage.
Diploma / Advanced Diploma / Higher Graduate Diploma / DVM / DKM Level 4 / DLKM Level 5
