As the solution consultant, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. This position requires a seasoned professional with strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills. You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end process of translating user requirements into technical specifications, managing timelines, and ensuring the efficient operation of the tech team.
Responsibilities:
1. User Requirement Gathering:
- Lead the process of collecting and analyzing user requirements from clients.
- Collaborate closely with implementation & support teams to understand their needs and expectations.
2. Convert Business Requirement to Technical Requirement:
- Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and user stories.
- Work closely with tech teams to ensure a clear understanding of technical requirements.
3. System Testing for Staging & Production:
- Oversee the planning and execution of system testing for staging and production environments.
- Ensure that testing processes are rigorous and align with business objectives.
4. Timeline Management for Tech Team:
- Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring that deliverables are completed on schedule.
- Optimize the resource allocation and project sequencing.
5. Resource Management for Tech Team:
- Lead resource management efforts, including allocation, capacity planning, and skill assessment.
- Work with HR to identify training needs and career development opportunities for team members.
6. Problem Solving and Proposed Solutions for Tech Related Roadblocks:
- Proactively identify and address technical roadblocks or challenges in collaboration with the tech team.
- Propose effective and innovative solutions to overcome obstacles.
7. Tech Related Platform, Portal, Software Setup and Maintenance:
- Oversee the setup and maintenance of tech-related platforms, portals, and software.
- Ensure the efficient operation of technology infrastructure.
8. Collaboration and Communication:
- Foster effective communication between clients, implementation & support team and the tech team.
- Facilitate regular meetings and status updates to ensure alignment on project goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a tech-relevant or project management field.
- Proven 2-3 years of experience in a leadership role within business analysis, solution consultant or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Experience in system testing and quality assurance.
- Ability to manage and lead a diverse team of business analysts and developers.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is considered an advantage.
