Client: They are the leading multi-channel retailer of sports fashion footwear and apparel, offering globally recognized brands alongside their own strong labels. They are expanding their reach in Southeast Asia and seeking a passionate leader to drive their retail growth across the region

Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer, SEA & Multichannel Director, SEA

Location: Bandar Utama, Damansara Selangor (Head Office)

Overview:

Together with Multichannel Director, spearheading multichannel strategy and operations in Southeast Asia, encompassing physical stores, online platforms, and mobile apps. Craft the vision and roadmap to achieve sustainable sales growth, market share dominance, and a seamless customer experience across all touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive multichannel strategy for Southeast Asia, aligning with organization’s global vision and local market demands.
  • Oversee all retail operations, including physical stores, e-commerce platforms, and mobile applications.
  • Drive profitable growth across all channels, optimizing pricing, promotions, and inventory management strategies.
  • Lead the development and execution of omnichannel marketing initiatives to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and loyalty.
  • Ensure a seamless customer experience across all touchpoints, from online browsing to in-store shopping and post-purchase support.
  • Analyze customer data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and refine multichannel strategies.
  • Partner with regional leaders (e.g., Retail Operations, Marketing) to foster collaboration and ensure alignment across departments.
  • Identify and implement best practices in e-commerce, store operations, and omnichannel retail management.
  • Lead the development and implementation of KPIs to measure performance across all channels.
  • Manage talent acquisition, development, and performance management for the multichannel team

You’re a Perfect Fit if You Have:

  • A strategic mindset with a deep understanding of multichannel retail and omnichannel customer journeys.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful multichannel strategies that drive revenue and market share growth.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams across diverse disciplines (retail, e-commerce, marketing).
  • Data-driven decision-making skills with the ability to leverage customer data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • In-depth knowledge of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing best practices, and omnichannel marketing strategies.
  • A passion for customer experience and a commitment to delivering seamless customer journeys across all touchpoints.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Experience in building and managing high-performing teams within a fast-paced retail environment

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in multichannel retail or e-commerce leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated experience of leading and growing multi-million dollar businesses across multiple channels.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing data-driven omnichannel strategies.
  • Experience managing and collaborating with diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English and strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with retail analytics tools preferred
