We are head hunters from a recruitment firm. Our client is looking for Regional Sales Manager. They are one of the MNC manufacturers of Dental Care products in Malaysia. Our client office is located at Nilai, Seremban and this is a permanent role. This client offers WFH, this role only going back office to office once/week for meeting.

Besides an attractive salary, our client offers 5-day week, phone allowances, bonus, medical coverage, insurance and etc
Job Description:
1. New Business Development
• Grow the customer base in the agreed region by proactive targeting of new customers.
• Regular research of the region, customer base and product offerings for business to target.
• Align with finance on financials for new business targets.
• Successfully deliver on agreed new business targets.

2. Account Management
• Deliver agreed sales and profit targets.
• Day to day running of agreed customer accounts.
• Develop account plans by customer including sales and margin growth plans per key customer (for internal and external use).
• Arrange samples and send as required.
• Liaise with finance dept on product costings and approve margin with line manager.
• Provide customer quotations.
• Follow up cash collection.
• Building customer presentations.
• Selling existing and new products.
• Agree promotion activities.

3. Customer Order Management
• First point of contact for all customer queries, complaints and general enquiries.
• Regular review of customer orders and forecasts with customer service.
• Tracking of Customer Order Patterns and Trends/Reporting
• Report KPI performance at Monthly Meetings.
• Travel to meet Customers to manage business.

4. Other
• Work as part of the wider commercial team to deliver sales, profit and innovation targets for the overall business.
• Work with the NPD team to develop and commercialize new products for the agreed region.
• Analyze market and customer trends to ensure the company achieves all commercial goals (short term and long term). This should be done as part of the agreed company sales and innovation strategies.
• Monitor and maintain contractual records, compliance and record findings.
• Occasional customer or sales related projects may be required.
• NOTE: The function does require travel (mainly in Asia Pacific)

Key requirements:
• Min Diploma holder with very good English. (Reporting to British Expat)
• Willing to work in Nilai. (WFH only going back office once/week for meeting)
• The candidate must have at least 10 years of overall FMCG sales experience but must have at least 2 years of FMCG OEM/private label business development experience. Candidates must be from OEM FMCG manufacturing companies and must be a good sales hunter. The candidate’s job is to look for potential customers like large retailers looking to do house brands, MLM companies or any company who wants to start a new toothpaste brand.
• The candidate must also have at least 1 year of regional or export sales experience.
