The primary responsibility of this position is to deal with building competence in the daily tasks of a Virtual Segmenter and work towards advancing to the position of Virtual Segmenter. This position also works directly with other Virtual Segmenters, IPS Coordinators, Designers, Design Engineers, and Planning Engineers to fulfil Individual Patient Solutions (IPS) to reproduce three (3) dimensional models from CT data while adhering to KLS Martin’s corporate image and industry regulatory standards. In addition, this position may also interpret sketches and descriptions of medical device concepts in the creation of illustrations and other media.

Key responsibilities include:

1.Learn and demonstrate the ability to manage, store, and interpret patient data promptly in the form of CT scans, dental models, and other patient specific data.

2.Learn and demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge of pertinent anatomical landmarks and features of, and not limited to, craniomaxillofacial, extremity, and thoracic anatomy.

3.Learn and demonstrate the ability to create accurate 3-dimensional models from patient data.

4.Demonstrate the ability Communicate efficiently and clearly between other team members on IPS cases.

5.Performs other duties as assigned by direct superior or head of department or management team.

Qualification / Education Background:


·Minimum qualification is diploma/degree in science or engineering.

·Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply as training will be provided.


Experiences:


·General proficiency with learning software.

·Proficiency with computer mouse for fine motor applications.

·Basic mathematical concepts.

·Possess with 3D modelling software experiences will be added advantage.


Preferred Knowledge:


·Adhere and support company’s quality and safety policies and procedures.

·Ability to learn new software quickly.

·Ability to retrieve and interpret documentation.

·Customer support skills.

·Able to work independently under minimal supervision, organize and prioritize information/tasks.

·Able to verify, investigate, evaluate data, and recommend appropriate solution/action.

·Able to efficiently communicate and collaborate amongst a team.

·Good interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels internally, as well as externally includes verbal and written communication.
