Senior Executive, People & Organization (P&O) will be responsible and manage all day-to-day human resources activities for retail stores in Malaysia. The position will report directly to the Assistant Manager, P&O Retail SEA and work closely with the Retail Operations Managers, Store Managers.

Your Mission

Task 1: Responsible for overall recruitment, new hire, on-boarding processes and orientation to ensure a fully staffed store. Ensure talent is sourced from appropriate channel at the right time to accommodate changing business needs whenever necessary.

Task 2: Manage all P&O administrative processes related to store employment including workflow, user access requests, terminations, transfers, new hire processing, store employment files, employment verifications, exit interviews etc.

Task 3: Oversee the process and assist the Store Management Team with all team member relations issues and those associated with corrective action. Travel to store locations within Malaysia to build networking with the retail store team and also to assist with new store openings.

Task 4: Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Task 5: Provide a safe and objective open door for all Team Members to discuss issues and concerns they may have related to the store, performance and their roles.

Task 6: Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to all levels of management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).

Task 7: To conduct employee engagement activities across Malaysia stores in making sure team members are motivated at all times. Maintains a pulse on employee engagement through frequent market visits and ongoing dialogue with team members via regular focus groups.

Your Talent

Education: University degree in HRM/Business or any other equivalent field

Professional: Functional: 3-4 years HR Generalist / HR Specialist / HR Business Partnering, from retail / fast moving industry. Knowledge of legal and regulatory factors including relevant employment laws in Malaysia.

IT Skills: Excel: Advanced; PowerPoint: Advanced; Other: HRIS knowledge

Language Skills: Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia

Competencies: Analytical Thinking / Problem Solving; Drive for Results; Oral Communication / Presentation; Planning & Organizing

Functional: Flexibility; Vendor Management; Written Communication; Commercial and retail awareness
