Summary of responsibilities

  • Specialize in IT processes and workflows for IT Operations, and integration with other departments
  • Identify opportunities to improve, reduce process flow and automate, to increase efficiency and velocity of changes in the environment
  • Create/Maintain process documentation/workflows, and self-service guidance for IT Services
  • Collect and document of business requirements for project and process improvement/automation effort
  • Key contributing member of the projects they manage and are not only accountable for the project success, but also the deliverables required by Deliver Lead

Overall Responsibility

  • The SRC Analyst is responsible to facilitate process workflow modelling to collaborate cross functional teams on process improvements, automation capabilities and clearly defined end-to-end use cases. Cross functional teams may include Engineering, Risk, Audit, CISO, and potentially external parties.
  • The SRC Analyst is responsible to review information and trends to ensure that the output of processes is achieving the desired results and that services are meeting agreed-upon service levels
  • The SRC Analyst is responsible to conduct maturity assessments against the process activities to highlight areas of improvement or concerns
  • The SRC Analyst is responsible to maintain a complete understanding of and adheres to all IT policies and processes
  • The SRC Analyst is responsible for drive the ITSM Ticket tool solution for PayNet
  • The SRC Analyst is responsible to guide the process workflow as according to ITIL, Agile, Lean and DevOps methodology
  • The SRC Analyst is responsible to identify issues and risks, bring inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management
  • The SRC Analyst is responsible to participate in the post-mortem incident reviews and prepare the incident report

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science; with a minimum of 3 years working experience in relevant areas, with 3 or more years managing large and complex IT projects, migrations or transformational initiatives
  • Having a master’s degree is an advantage
  • Experience in banking or IT related sector would be an added advantage
  • Experience in managing cards business projects would be an added advantage
  • Strong computer literacy skills – Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project or similar tool such as JIRA or Pivotal Tracker is required
  • Candidates with ITIL certification will be given preference

Additional Requirements:

  • Able to work with minimum supervision and under pressure
  • Able to effectively lead and manage a team of engineers and business analyst outside of direct reporting line
  • Able to work well with people at all levels, whether IT or non-IT
  • Have good problem-solving skills
  • Have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
