Responsibilities

  • Issue PO to supplier as per ASL and according to part lead time after material plan being refreshed.
  • Regulate in-coming materials inclusive of pull in and push out demand qty in tandem with customer’s latest schedule so as to optimize inventory level.
  • Act on customer’s ECN to mitigate risk of excess and obsolescence to minimum.
  • Liaise with Supplier for incoming defective part disposition. Familiar with RMA process.
  • Ensure POD process is done and all relevant documents are submitted to Finance timely for payment purpose.
  • Provide quick turn solutions with or without PPV to fulfill customer short lead time order.
  • Optimize cost of bringing materials by consolidating shipment frequency and selecting shipment mode.
  • Work cross department and supplier to resolve all issues amicably. Theses include adjourd meeting, furnished relevant data, follow up meeting until issue resolved.
  • Assist in the vendor evaluation, selection and approval process.
  • To provide informative report for management perusal and decision making.

Requirements

  • At least Diploma / Degree in Material Management, ME or EE or equivalent. Able to understand components be it electrical or mechanical specification will be advantageous.
  • Highly analytical & with keen attention to details.
  • Good working attitude & mindset. Pro-active & able to complete tasks assigned with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication skills both in Chinese and English. Good command of MS Office. Knowledge of MRP will be an advantageous.
  • Ability to work under pressure & meet deadlines.
  • Understand Incoterm.
  • Basic understanding of LMW.
  • Working experience in PCBA or box build manufacturing environments will be advantageous.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, training will be provided.
  • Candidate must be willing to work in Sungai Petani, Kedah.
