Job Responsibilities

Electronic Hardware Design Engineer

To architect and design electronic hardware circuit.

Collaborates with software and mechanical engineers in the product development life cycle - from idea and conceptualize; through requirements, design, and development.

Utilize schematic capture tools, define printed circuit board (PCB) constraints and layer stack up and PCB layout routing work.

Develop the firmware based on the electronic circuitry.

Analyze circuit designs with simulation tools to implement good design practices for Signal Integrity, Power Integrity and EMI mitigation

Using standard electrical measurement tools such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, and logic analyzers to assess circuit performance and make design improvements

Demonstrate problem-solving skills in PCBA debugging/troubleshooting of typical issues encountered within the product development cycle

Collaborate with a team of software, mechanical, and system engineers to review and improve hardware design

Education and Experience

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with experience in electronics hardware design.

• Experience in embedded systems design (microcontroller/microprocessor) and interface to peripherals over suitable digital communication protocols. (UART/SPI/I2C/USB etc..)

• Experience with signal Integrity simulation and analysis is an added advantage

• Experience in power supply design (DC-DC/AC-DC) and analog signal conditioning (filters/ADC/DAC)

• Knowledge of good EMC design practices for board/system level as well as EMC test and troubleshooting experience.

• Experience in RF/antenna design, impedance matching and implementation of WiFi/BT modules is an added advantage
