IT EXECUTIVE - #10513382

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Maintain and provide technical support in all the IT infrastructure, LAN & WAN, Systems and hardware & software to ensure smooth daily business operation.
2. Perform installation, configuration and ongoing usability of system hardware and software.
3. Provide helpdesk support to end users on IT problems encountered.
4. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in person, remotely and via phone.
5. Set up workstations with computers or POS Systems and necessary peripheral devices (Wi-Fi, routers, etc)
6. Development POS System function (e.g. recipe control, staff credit)
7. Import menu/promotion material into the POS System.
8. Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders
9. Ensure security and privacy of network computer systems.
10. Liaise with networking contractor/service provider to ensure our IT functions properly all the time.
11. Responsibility for undertaking routine preventative jobs. Perform regular system health check audits.
12. Assist in optimizing the organization’s technology resources and recommend future technology direction and new technology initiatives.
13. Develop IT-related SOP (e.g. Flowchart, video, etc)
14. Provide orientation and guidance to outlets on how to operate new software and computer equipment.
15. Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule.
16. Prepare activity reports/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule
17. Prepare activity reports upon investigation and diagnostic testing.
18. Maintain records of POS license status.
19. Any other assignments that may be assigned from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENT:

1. At least a Degree or above in any Computer Science / Information Technology / Computing or equivalent.
2. Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT-related field.
3. Able to travel within Johor Bahru area.
4. Able to work at Ulu Tiram, Johor Bahru.
5. Ability to meet deadlines and manage stress effectively in high-pressure situations.
6. Understanding of IT principles and an ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience.
7. A strong sense of discretion and confidentiality is required.
8. Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
9. In-depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
10. Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.
