Job Description

Logistics Project Manager - JB Branch

Job Duties

1. Responsible to assist manager for smooth-running of operational management and interdepartmental/external communication in order to meet achieve company’s goals as total.

2. Needs to have handy man capabilities to do small maint and manage maint to be done.

3. Fully responsible to inbound or outbound daily logistics operations, such as booking, coordinating pick-up/delivery arrangement, consolidation and others logistics activities

4. To collaborate with internal departments to integrate logistics processes, such as marketing, production, planning and finance

5. To establish relationship with local authority and to enhance legal compliance for daily truck movement by monitoring processes and reporting

6. To established negotiation with transporter pertaining to lead-time, sustainability, on-time delivery and quality of transportation services by established transporter KPI to improve cost efficiency and timeless objectives

7. Attend and resolve daily operations problems concerning transportation and customer issues via phone call, text message and email.

8. To maintain and to implement reporting, documentation, notifications as specifically required by manager

Requirements

1. University or College Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing or any acceptable combination of education

2. Solid experience in engagement with government and municipal council will be an added advantage.

3. Genuine and keen interest on the protecting the environment.

4. Strong knowledge in basic project management principles, methods, practices, and techniques.

5. Strong problem identification and objections resolution skills.

6. Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills.

7. Strong written communication skills.

8. Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.

9. Ability to travel and attend events or functions whenever required with short notice.

10. Ability to work individually and as part of a team.

11. High level of integrity and work ethic.

Working Conditions

  1. Must have knowledge of computer
  2. Must be prepared to expand with job and lead to JB depot manager
  3. Must have current passport and can travel regularly to Singapore
  4. Must have drivers licence
  • 5 days a week with rotation on for weekends half day each sat
  • Company car , phone and laptop

start salary at rm 3500
