Overview Our client is a world-renowned fintech company

They are looking to hire tech-savvy privacy professional who is passionate about data. The individual will work closely with members in the International Privacy Team, and other legal/compliance/AML/data privacy professionals. The Privacy Compliance Manager will work with such parties to implement and monitor data protection and privacy policies and ensure compliance with applicable data privacy law and regulations. • Maintaining privacy documentations such as ROPA, TIA, LIA & DPIA etc., as well as entity level privacy policy.
• Managing data access and data subject requests, and conducting internal training on data protection and privacy.
• Understanding applicable privacy laws and other legal and regulatory requirements and licensing conditions with respect to data protection and privacy, and work with other legal and compliance teams, business teams, as well as Info-security, IT and customer services to implement privacy requirements.
• Horizon scanning in the developments in data protection and data security in the APEC, EMEA and Americas regions (i.e., new laws, regulations, important judgments, regulatory guidance, etc.).
• Maintaining internal international privacy knowledge repository.

Other duties:

• Assisting with incident reporting and investigation, collaborating with product counsel to ensure legal requirements and privacy controls are implemented in products.
• Support audit exercises, due diligence exercises and license application processes.

Requirements

• Have had at least 2 years' experience in compliance. Experience in financial services preferred but not essential.
• Privacy experience preferred but not essential.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in fast-paced environment and provide pragmatic and considered advice under tight deadline.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a project and drive it forward until it is completed. Tenacious personality and goal driven mindset are desirable.
• Demonstrated organization skills.
• A team player who can effectively work with stakeholders cooperatively and efficiently.
